Hello, lovelies!

I’m Beth, the creator of Whole Heart Bliss (formerly known as “How Does That Make You OM?”). Welcome. 🙂

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas and currently work with a private practice in North Texas. I love being a therapist; mental health awareness is definitely a calling in life. One thin
g that I love meditation tentto discuss with my clients is the benefits of nutrition, meditation, mandalas, and yoga. I started doing yoga for the first time when I was in high school as an addition to my swimming practice with my team and continued it intermittently in college. It wasn’t until after graduate school that I stuck with yoga consistently. It wasn’t long until I knew it was something I wanted to do with my life in some form.

My long term goal is to raise awareness of how yoga and counseling can play an important role together in keeping individuals healthy all over the world. I would love to own a private practice someday that includes doing private yoga sessions, traditional counseling sessions, and yoga and counseling groups.

I completed my yoga teacher training in 2016 with Rebecca Butler at The Sanctuary Yoga Room in Fort Worth, Texas. I currently work part time as a mental health therapist and am teaching yoga with the rest of my free time. I currently teach at Karmany Yoga, a donation based studio in Fort Worth, and in my hometown of Cleburne, Texas, at The Yoga Room.

ybicoalition-community-partner-logoThrough my blogging and social media habits (obsessions), I recently became the communications intern for the Yoga and Body Image Coalition. This led to a community partnership with the YBIC, and I am proud to support their mission of body positivity within the yoga community.

I love my dog, my cat, and my husband. I drink tea daily and enjoy dancing to Beyonce. I love to laugh and I try as hard as possible to find the positives in everything. I consider myself to be a book nerd, who is always reading all different types of books. I love to travel and carbs are my weakness.

Regina George, my pup, always loves to practice yoga with me.
